i'll be peter crouch, you'll be abby clancy
as rhf - ftko goes on the back burner - where it shall hopefully remain for some time to come another project has been ignited and doused as quickly.
tsug - lp2 [apologies to my attorney] has 4/5 working tracks all untitled as yet, i may have to move to leeds and live under wullie's fridge with ableton running off the coolant fluid in order to have any interaction which is what made the strings of knocklynn any good [maybe] in the first place.
so as i toiled today trying to rip-off dragonfly pie as politely as possible - there i saw an email from aaron "a song" it said.
the short email message & the enclosed track enthused me, and i also had the writing of two presentations to avoid - still going successfully.
blackmill road is a fantastic song, completely unlike any of aaron's previous work. not that it's fantastic aspects are what differentiates them from his other work, you know what i mean, jesus.
i added two shimmery violin lap steel parts, one clean tele and pooly syncopated bass, panned everything hard and filtered aaron and the clean guitar through the 'old time radio' setting on cool edit v2.0, kindly licenced by Peter Quistgard, who i just googled and he's done fuck all. that makes two of us. maybe he's on logic now...
some definition of melody [or at least an air of space in the mix] is required in the non-vocal verses. the banjo may have to come in from the cold at this point.
the alt-mix has 5/4 and 5/8 drums from the zoom 707II pedal at 102 and 86 bmp respectively. completely pointless.

i've never let a pomme de terre me.
tonight on bravo tv - when laptops, printers, SmartMedia card powered multitrack studio and effects modules - with added aux mixing capabilities and track bouncing, go wrong. starring, me, and pilers, 12 reams of Northern Health and Social Services Trust MRSA free paper, one ZOOM PS-02 Palmtop Studio, 4 triple a batteries, several shards of one broken glass slide now safely stored in an earthed potato, alongside other up and coming concerns such as - is Track 2(3) saved in the folder 'pn', the same as the track Untitled 3(7) saved in another folder called 'dante, vico, mario'?
no processed effects, however, can cover up the dramatic lack of motivation surrounding disc seven of k.t.k.o. - the project itself - already in its twenty-first month - has encountered trouble at every corner.
just last week, after completing the gig at the Northern Independent Gaelic Games Association [or N.I.G.G.A.] i was forced to take a taxi from the train station back to HMP Flemtonville, after having my request for the quick arrangement of a 160 strong percussion team of hurlers banging out the beat of Afrika Bombata on their hurley bats, due to sample difficulties, - denied. regardless, after loading myself and the rest of me into the car, i noticed that some preceeding customer had indeed spilt, or released by other means, milk in the back seat. when the driver i accosted, he replied, 'give yersel a shake hi an dinnae cry over spilt milk, ha', to which i retorted, with a rye chortle, 'what is this? cab-ris-au-lait?'.
troubles....

edit wave file colour.
snippets of the first mixes of what promises, but never licks, to be the seventh disc of [free the knocklynn one] available on free download in 2015 through the ExLibris Free Download Division, are in the works. several mixes prove, through rigorous quantative analysis and sober feasibility studies - to be less than worthless.
in other news odb's estate has exclusively and unequivocally denied me access to the masters of 'nigga please'. despair.
